Chemical Fibres Plant Chemitex. One of the buildings there.
The most awesome abandoned place I've been too (recently)... Pl: Wybudowane w dwudziestoleciu międzywojennym. Poczatkowo Fabryka Przędzy i Tkanin Sztucznych. Od 1949 roku - Chodakowskie Zakłady Włókien Chemicznych Chemitex. W latach '60 wybudowano dwa 80-metrowe kominy wyciągowe. Produkowane tu włókno wiskozowe eksportowane było do wielu krajów świata. (wikipedia) Opuszczone w latach '90 - na jednej ze ścian wciąż wisi kalendarz z '91 roku, jest też dokumentacja z '92). Eng: Built in the twenties. At the beginning - Yarn and artificial textiles factory. After 1949 - Chemical Fibres Plant Chemitex. In the sixties two 80-metres chimneys were built. Viskose fibre produced there was exported to many countries around the world. (info from wikipedia). Factory was abandoned in the nineties - the calendar from 1991 still hangs on the wall, the documentation from 1992 lies on the floor.
